It seemed like a good idea at the time to paint all the white cabinets brown. Some white cabinets had originally came with the building so we decided that we would just use them for kitchen cupboards and then purchase any extra we needed and paint them all the same color so they would match. A helpful sales associate at ben-moore showed us the perfect kind of paint to use... a house mix called "black bean soup". With keen ambition, I started taking apart the cupboards. Excessivly using the drill to take out the screws just because it makes a neat sound. And thats where the fun ended... every single cupboard and door had to be washed and primed and painted. I cannot believe that two weeks later I am stillllll painting cupboards.. the term "black bean soup" will forever haunt my dreams. Anyway, the bro is up and is somehow installing them in about a tenth of the time it would take me. maybe this week i will see the end of them! will post a picture soon of the progres... believe it or not there has actually been some! flooring is ordered but will take about two weeks to get it. almost everything else is done in the main floor of the house ..like painting and walls and etc... just a bit of work in the basement and we will done the house! Photos to follow in a day or so.
