SCOTLAND

Sooooo... I went to Scotland for a week. A very lovely excursion to the countryside. It was quite rainy which put a damper (no pun intended) on too much sight seeing but other than that a jolly good time. I was able to have an authentic Haggis dinner. Though the Vegetarian Haggis was a bit of a cheat. (I did have the real stuff also) I didnt think and tried to bring back some Haggis for my brothers but I guess after all that BSE stuff.. is that what its called again.. mad cow whatever, they wouldnt let me take it thru customs. Did meet a nice border guard and the sniffer dog but hey what can you do.. Spent a day in Edinburgh which was very windy and rainy and wind gusts of 87 miles an hour. But we did manage to see the castle (from a distance), get a bit of a picture of myself in front of some ruins and sit at the Elephant Cafe where Harry Potter was written. Was very amused by the bathroom sign in there " Out of Order (of the Pheonix)" Hahah.. nerdout! Also went to "House of Bruer" where basically people park their landrovers, tie their dogs up and buy tweed and hunting socks! very beautiful with the snow falling. had Steak pie for lunch mmmm... anyways.. look at the following pictures for more information! enjoy! (and pardon the terrible photo quality.. im a little deficient in the camera department currently
